A Taste of Joy Restaurant - Agalia Luxury Suites

Pendant notre séjour à l'hotel Agalia luxury suites nous avons eu la possibilité de diner au restaurant Taste of Joy. Un restaurant en plein air, en face de la superbe piscine de 180m2 et avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le port de Ios. Un rdv fort conseillé pour un dîner romantique. 

Le restaurant propose une cuisine raffinée avec des produits frais, des ingrédients grecs locaux, des recettes traditionnelles avec une touche sophistiquée. Il en sort une cuisine grecque moderne avec des créations du grand Chef grec Gikas Xenakis.

During our stay at the Agalia Luxury Suites hotel we had the opportunity to dine at the Taste of Joy Restaurant. An outdoor restaurant, in front of the superb swimming pool and with an exceptional view of the port of Ios. A recommended appointment for a romantic dinner that you can't miss.

The restaurant offers fine cuisine with fresh products, local Greek ingredients, traditional recipes with a sophisticated twist. A modern Greek cuisine comes out, all created by the great Greek Chef Gikas Xenakis.

J'ai choisi de commencer par un carpaccio de poulpe, une vrai délice. Frais, gouteux et bien assaisonné. Une pure merveille.

I choose to start with an octopus carpaccio, a real treat. Fresh, tasty and well seasoned. A real marvel.

Ensuite nous avons choisi un filet de poisson sur un lit de pâte typique grecques. Très raffiné et subtile au gout.
Et une tagliata de viande qui était parfaitement cuisiné. Une viande très juteuse et tendre. La salade en accompagnement était aussi très bonne. 

Then we choose, a fresh fish fillet on a bed of typical Greek pasta. Very refined and subtle taste.

And a meat tagliata that was cooked perfectly. A very juicy and tender meat. The salad on the side was also very good.

Pour les desserts nous avons choisi à l'unanimité un parfait maison, une vrai tuerie.  Nous avons eu le plaisir de discuter, pendant le dessert, avec la propriétaire du Agalia Hotel.

For desserts we unanimously chose an home made ice-cream with grappes and meringue, a real delight. We had the pleasure to meet and talk, during the desserts, with the owner of Agalia Hotel. A really lovely and inspiring woman, with the sense of respect for Ios, the nature and the youth. 

Un diner simple, raffiné et unique vu la qualité des plats et le charme du lieu. 

A simple dinner, refined and unique given the quality of the dishes and the charm of the place.
